the only embarassing thing was mclennan's chop, which wasn't even that embarassing. it's called playoff hockey. grow some balls.

The Flames are bascially the league version of sore losers! Why is it that everytime they are losing a game they act like a bunch of thugs. I know intimidation is part of the game but seriously who are they trying to fool when the game is that far out of reach....you lost the frickin game suck it up and play the next one. The Wings had the scoreboard to prove that they handled the Flames rather easliy.

Wow this was the stupidest thing Ive seen at team level Ive seen in a while. I was really hoping they could beat the Wings,not going to happen now.

Actually what I found embarrassing most was that the refs let the game get so out of control - and yeah the Flames were responsible for their actions but so were the Wings. Haven't heard anyone comment on Langkow being submarined at the knees at the end of a game where the Wings were solidly in the lead. Or how about the continual love taps Kipper got - like where he got slashed on his hands? I mean, forgive me that Hasek flopped over the ice when he felt some contact with Jarome - but Kipper has had it much worse in this series. Neither side is blameless - neither side are angels, it's the playoffs and they're both trying to get that extra edge that will help them advance. Say what you will about how embarassing the Flames are - the same can be said of the Wings. Just let the series finish and then start the name calling, mmmkay?

I know you Flames fans are just trying to protect your team but it is true that the Flames were the sole cause of the mayhem at the end of the game yesterday

Sorry, my soft hearted Friends.It IS playoff hockey. That's how it goes.The Lebda hit on Langkow was SO DIRTY, the crease crashing disrespect of the Wings forwards and with such a lead as Detroit had...Any hockey player worth their salt is going to react the same way. If you disagree, you've either never played the sport or you played it like a wuss...The flames may be out, but they went out like hockey players, not like pansies.
