During the intermission between the 3rd and 4th overtimes, the clock struck 3 a.m. on the East Coast, and very promptly VERSUS left its Canucks-Stars coverage and flipped on some infomercial about pilates......
are you kidding me?!?? I know you have to pay the bills, but that is absolutely RIDICULOUS! There should be outrage from the hockey community over this and VERSUS should never do this again!!
I'm absolutely going insane over the fact they did that. Vancouver is my second favorite team (Sabres are my favorite) and I had been watching the entire the game to that point. Once again this is just totally and completely unacceptable, and I am outraged.
Anybody else experience this? People's thoughts about this insanity? VERSUS really let me down on opening night of the NHL Playoffs. The coverage wasn't amazing either. It just makes me so mad.
Anyway...I'm listening to the game now on NHL.com.
I'll be going to the Sabres game tomorrow night. GO SABRES!!
I got the whole game on vs
weird. i got nothing. left the channel on while i listened to the game online but that infomercial was there the whole time. must have been just in my area :-/ !
I lost coverage too....it seem to be Time Warner Cable who were the morons.
This same thing happened when the Preds and Sharks game went into the 1st OT, but DishNetwork/NHL Center Ice got back on the feed within minutes (during the intermission) so there was no part of the game that was missed. But for a few minutes it certainly looked like I wouldn't be able to see the end!
if thats true thats horriblei passed out after the 3rd period. i had to work early
Thank god we get CBC in Buffalo.
I have TWC in NYC and got to see the whole thing. If not I can't imagine how pissed off I would have been!Even then, I was disapointed by the versus coverage. I have the center ice package so I rarely watch the versus game as the Canucks are never on it. I'm watching and see Kesler skating around, but they didn't even mention how this guy is back 3-4 weeks early from major surgery until the second period! And I never got to see Donnelly singing the national anthem. I wish they had picked up a different series so I could have seen the HNIC feed.
I got the whole feed...although I almost turned it off when they started talking about the "no goal"...
