Tonight Chris Drury looked to have scored an icing on the cake goal for the New York Rangers putting them up 4-1 in a series deciding game 5. However, New Jersey didn't die out as it seemed they would, they rallied to come within 1. At 4-3 Dubinsky scored in the empty net to clinch the series and put the Rangers up 5-3 in the game. Also securing Chris Drury's 16th GWG in the playoffs. An unbeliveable feat that only a few greats have been equal to accomplishing. Drury has enough game winning goals in the playoffs to entitle himself to one Stanely Cup ring already. As Pierre Mcguire said in tonights game "Chrus Drury just gets winning" , he truly does and that 10 million dollars the NYRs spent on him in the off season may well have been the best overpayment for a player in the NHL. His playoff success speaks for itself, coming through in the clutch when needed the most when everything is on the line he seems to appear. Some argue that Drury didn't show up in the previous 4 games of the series...but he sure showed up tonight, scoring the series winner and also bringing the likes of Callahan and Dawes along with him for a 3rd line that is heating up for the NYR, watch out Eastern conference, when you have guys like Chris Drury on your 3rd Line stepping up, it makes it almost scary to want to face the Rangers in the post season.

It will be fun to watch him against the Pens in the next round.

GREAT POST! I can attest, sometimes Drury looks like a passenger in the playoffs, but when things are on the line, you'll be so glad you got him. He's a real special player, and I'll always be a fan of his regardless of what team he plays for. I've liked him since he was in Colorado, and now it's your time. Enjoy
