Sens lost again. Buffalo wins against the AHL-Senators. Four Sens players picked up points today. Yay offensive depth. Marek Svatos played his first with the Sens after being picked up on waivers. He didn't do anything. Good old Sens.

Interesting thought for tonight. Notice any writings, projections, articles, blogs, or other works about the Boston Bruins playoff chances. Clearly their biggest aquisition was not Chris Kelly, but the guy deserves some credit. Kelly was one of Ottawa's most consistant players, and probobly one of the only ones he met expectations in a Sens jersey this year. He was traded to Boston for a 2nd round pick this year, yet he got less publicity than the Kovalev for a 7th deal.

Kelly is a good third line center, and if the Bruins make it far in the playoffs I wouldn't put it past him to pop in 5-10 points in the playoffs this season. For a depth player, thats not bad, and I think Kelly deserves more respect than the media is giving him. He's the kind of player who could change a game with solid defensive play or timely goal. If he proves to be a clutch player, this is going to prove to be a very good trade for the Bruins, and it's passing under the rader, for now.

Mark my words, come playoff time, this will have been one of Peter Chiarelli's better deals this year.
