The Elusive Finn

Building on the success of the Where's Waldo franchise and catching on like wild fire across Sabres' Nation is the Where's Leino Drinking Game. The elusive Finn has been rumored to have made appearances in various Arenas across the U.S and Canada and has accounted for a substantial Salary hit for the Sabres, but can you spot him on the ice? Drink! It's like UFO hunting or...

Spotting a Sasquatch!

Most reports of the mysterious 23 usually involve him peeling back from the half wall to avoid a check or coughing up the puck in the neutral zone. Drink! He has never been sighted in the defensive zone. Drink anyways! Rumors persist (e4) that he's really good at Guitar Hero. Drink! The real excitement of playing Where's Leino comes if he should ever be credited with a goal, likely deflected off his backside...you must stand and shout Leino!, slam your drink and then...

Eat your Shoe! (*don't worry)

So as Sabres' Nation drink themselves into and out of a stupor, we continue our dreary march to the first overall pick in the draft. The Sabres management deserves kudos for pulling off a remarkable bait and switch, that is, transforming an NHL team into the AHL Rochester Americans and the ECHL Greenville Road Warriors. That's why Nathan Lieuwen has Mel Gibson on his Goalie Mask, of course.

A Darcy update

Just making it's way around the world wide webnets...Regier has been named Skipper (GM) of the Lake Minnetonka peewee Mudbugs and ruffled some feathers at his opening presser when he predicted "Much Suffering" to the surprise of parents and teary eyed youngsters. Glad to see him back to work!

Hollywood Phil

In some of the biggest news to come out of Leaf nation since they won the Stanley Cup 47 Years Ago(!), Phil Kessel has signed on to reprise his role as Fat Hobbit #3 in the new feature film from Lions Gate "The Wrath of Frodo". It was inspired by Leafs' Fan Fiction. Good for him. Variety praised his previous roles as Mogwai in the Gremlins and the under-rated Fizzgig in The Dark Crystal. Just hate to see someone so talented get typecast.....

Thanks for reading folks.
