Since the 2002-2003 National Hockey League season, no team has worn white at home on a full-time basis. Though this will not be permanent, Sabres managing partner Larry Quinn announced that the Buffalo Sabres will wear their road white jersies for 4 home games in November against Northeast division opponents...

Wed Nov 7th vs Boston
Fri Nov 9th vs Toronto
Wed Nov 21st vs Ottawa
Fri Nov 23rd vs Montreal

This is a change I wish the NHL would make permanently. I was always in favor of the white uniforms being worn at home and the darks on the road.

I know this is the least of our worries in Sabre land with the way the team has performed as of late but I would like your thoughts and opinions on this. Yes, we are in the "New" NHL era but bringing back a little tradition may not be such a bad thing.

luckily for us, larry quinn is only a managing partner, although sometimes it seems as though he is the president. larry quinn eats paint chips.

here is my problem with myhockeybuzz.com: its plagiarism. i read this in the newspaper two hours before you posted this. you are reporting someone else's work unless of course you went down to HSBC Arena and talked to larry quinn.

WHO CARES ABOUT THE COLOR OF THEIR JERSEY?????? HOW ABOUT PUTTING A DECENT TEAM ON THE ICE......GIVE ME A BREAK SABRES FANS. MAKE THIS MANAGEMENT TEAM WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH THOSE WHO THINK IT IS EARLY GIVE EM A BREAK. IF YOU WAIT TOO LONG TO MAKE A MOVE TO IMPROVE THE TEAM, THEY WILL BE TOO FAR OUT OF IT TO RECOVER.....WAKE UP SABRES FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, paraphrasing without sourcing is also plagarism.

Geeez - lighten up with the plagiarism criticism. Read the second line in the first para - he attributed the comment to Larry Quinn. It's not plagiarism. And if you still think it is, then about 90% of what you read or watch on TV would have to be considered the same. How else does information get disseminated? People repeat what they've heard and it spreads - for good or bad. Meanwhile, some of us don't subscribe to the Buffalo Daily News or whatever you call your paper and might find a posting such as Jimmerts' interesting. Posts such as this, even if not terribly important, are what make this site what it is.

Yikes layoff the plagirism thing. Ever stop to think that he may be posting it for Sabres Fans around the globe? Not everybody reads the Buffalo News. Especially if you don't live in WNY.
