Today Sidney Crosby was in town at a press conference in a Sport Chek store in Mississauga. I got my first glimpse of Crosby in person.

This morning Reebok and NHL Most Valuable Player, Sidney Crosby, teamed up to reveal the latest Fall 2007 apparel, footwear and hockey equipment under the Rbk SC87 brand name. All items within this collection feature the SC87 shield logo designed to incorporate Crosby’s initials and jersey number. "It's an honour to have my own logo designed after my initials and jersey number, in the colours of the Pittsburgh Penguins", said Crosby. The launch of this brand offers Sidney Crosby fans a chance to win a trip to see him play in Pittsburg.

Hockey card collectors will be thrilled to add a limited edition series of "Upper Deck" Rbk hockey cards featuring Sidney Crosby to their collection. This 'gift with purchase' promotion provides consumers with the opportunity to receive these hockey cards when they purchase items from the Sidney Crosby Rbk SC87 collection.

Don't worry Pwoz, the Reebok Avery boxing gloves will be on the shelves in no time. Right next to the Shanahan dentures, Jagr geriatric walker and Gomez bean dip.

lol that was pretty good.I meant more of the price-jacking now that his name is associated with it.. kinda like people buying nike jordans for obscene amounts.

When I played hockey, I never bought anything specifically cause somebody endoursed it. It's unfortunate how rbK has expanded into the Crosby branch and jacked up prices for something as essential as skates. I remember buying a $190 of Nike skates that Naslund wears and I couldnt have been happier until I found out he wore them. Mind you, the rich kids parents who can afford it, well bravo!
