"Will you play hockey for food?"
Well another day's come and gone and we're excited to announce that we've set a single city record for Ottawa! The community turned out today to raise a total of 4,635 lbs of food and almost 100 people attended. We also teamed up with A Channel Ottawa and gave away a pair of Katy Perry tickets (section 100 tickets!!) to the first person who donated 20 cans of food this morning!

We're looking to BEAT that city record in Toronto. Think you can do it? Here are the details!!

WHO: Five Hole for Food
WHERE: Withrow Park, 725 Logan Ave. N of Bain
WHEN: Friday July 1st (Canada day!)
FOR WHO: Benefits the Daily Food Bank (Toronto)

So come out, Toronto and play hockey for food on Canada day!! It's Canada's 144th birthday and we can't think of any better way to celebrate than by playing some ball hockey and raising awareness for a very good cause!
