Devils and Possible Signings

Overview: The Devs have to save room. If they are going to resign Parise then much room has to be saved. The Devils are going to be looking low in salary.



Patrick Lalime...600,000...Low salary and a good guy to back Marty

Brian Boucher...925,000...Played for Flyers was a good backer. He shut the Devils down two years ago in the playoffs.

Martin Gerber...500,000...Been around for a while. He started for Ottawa a couple years back.

John Grahame...500,000....Low Salary been in the league for a LONG time. Was a starter fro Carolina before Cam Ward.

Jason Labarbera...1,000,000...A little bit more on the salary but he could be a timesplitter to give the aging Brodeur a break once in a while.



Andy Greene...750,000...Obviously a big help with for the Devils last year brought in 23 points.

Anssi Salmela...625,000...Good offensive guy similar to Greene but Im not sure about his chances with NJ.

Ruslan Salei...750,000...Many bloggers agree Salei would be a great guy for the Devils his chances with the Devils are very good.

Freddy Meyer...600,000...A good “throw-in” for the Devils basically another body who could rack up points and play the blueline.

Jeff Woywitka...700,000...Im sure half of you have never heard of this guy but he actually is a good blueliner. Very good at being a OFD.



Ben Eager...965,000...The Devils need a tough guy. Yes they do have P.L.L Leblond but Eager would be a better guy for them.

Villie Leino...825,000...This guy is being looked at by everyone. 52 points last year...Look at his salary!

Raffi Torres...1,000,000...29 points last year. He is another “throw-in” guy

Curtis Glencross...1,200,000...A little bit more on the salary but he is quite a player. He would fit right in on the Devils perfectly.
Jon Sim...650,000...Islander guy but he can be a help on the checking line.



Ryan Jones...975,000...I think he has a better chance with the Oilers than with the Devils.

Fernando Pisani...500,000...Low Salary,Low Height, High Expectations...And he meets them

Mark Recchi...1,000,000....He WILL end up on Boston but the Devils could use a VET



Tyler Kennedy...850,000...A lot of rumors state that the Devils are interested...He is a good forward.

Chris Thorburn...690,000...To tell you the truth I would be surprised to see him go to Winnipeg. I would not be surprised if he came to NJ

Eric Belanger...750,000...Being looked at by mostly Carolina but the Devils have been seen on the rumor lists.

Maxime Talbot...1,050,000...Was an RFA but Pittsburgh obviously doesnt want him. The Devils Need a good big center to screen.

Michael Zigomanis...500,000...VERY good at winning faceoffs especially in the defensive zone
