Avs gain one point after late goal from Holden

For the third time in four games the Avs received a late goal with Semyon Varlamov on the bench. In Tampa Nathan MacKinnon scored with 7 seconds left, at home against Boston Ryan O’Reilly scored with 1:45 remaining, and tonight, with just 36 seconds left on the clock, Nick Holden scored to tie the game at three and send it to overtime.
All three games have ended with a different outcome. Tonight, the Avs surrendered a goal in the overtime period and lost 4-3. The other two both ended in a shootout with Colorado winning one of them.
