It is very clear to me that change is needed in Calgary, in order to win a Stanley Cup. Change in Goal, no. but the rest of the team has struggled with consistency. i think we need to address the fact that we only have one true goal scorer in Iginla, the rest are hit and miss. This defence core has struggled in consistency with Sarich looking more like he is playing shinny. Sutter I am really confused on why you think this team is so good, personally as a fan I think this team looks more like a team who will always under achieve. The players we need for the cup you have traded away for high salaries and under achievers, shame on you, you had the cup in your grasp.

alright finally someone with an opinion rather then a summary of everything that we already know. my question to you would be who are the guys that we needed for the cup have we traced. Gelinas ? no as he was a free agent and not worth the money he was asking. sure he scored big goals in the playoffs, but they were right spot type goals, he hadn't done much during that season or anything of substance since he has left. Clark ? it would be nice to still have him, but again he left as free agent, and I don't think he would have solved our goal scoring problems. The fact is that iggy really put that team on his solders during that run, but he can't possibly do it for a whole season. We do need secondary scoring and tanguay has been a disapointment. It just shows what playing with a star studded team like colorado on a line with sakic will do. We have the centerpieces with kipper, iggy, regehr and phaneuf. I think what we should blame is our drafting in the ten years before and passive play out of the likes of huselius, langkow, connroy, tanguay,
