Hey guys! I have been wanting to do this for some time now, and after last nights talkcast I decided to go with something that made some kind of sense. It is just a name change so the blogs will still keep coming. I have not switched favorite teams or changed the way I look at this team. Same old style, although I will be trying to post more often. I have been trying to move into a new place and it has consumed a large majority of my time. Anyway enough about me.

Last nights talkcast went well considering there were only 3 callers. I think once people get registered on talkshoe, we will see a larger number of people tuning in. Ryan did a really great job filling the time, a one hour show can become very long if nobody calls in. I think I speak for all Sharks fans when I say we appreciate the time Ryan has taken to make this thing happen and give us Sharks fans a place to talk Sharks hockey. So everyone tune in on Wednesday night at 10 pm.

Last nights win was a huge step forward for this team. They played one of their best and most complete games of the year, but I want talk about Saturday night. I have to say that Saturday night in the Tank was by far my favorite Sharks moment in the last few years. To attend a game where such a huge accomplishment was reached is a life experience. For me this was better to see than Barry Bonds breaking the all time homerun record, and I am a big baseball fan. Jeremy Roenick did something only 3 other Americans have ever accomplished and that is huge for the hockey in the States. To see a grown man come to tears as he raised that 500th puck over his head and aknowledged the crowd was something you see from legends. Roenick thanked the Sharks organization for giving him the chance to play here and reach that milestone, and for a chance to raise Lord Stanley's Cup, something that has eluded him in his 19 year career. Then he thanked the fans for being the best fans in the NHL, and for taking him in like one of the guys who have been here for years.

So to you Mr. Jeremy Roenick I say....

Thank you ! Thank you for coming here and allowing us Sharks fans to witness a milestone that only 2 other crowds in NHL history have been able to witness. Thank you for playing with the same passion you played with your rookie season, and thank you for being you. There could not be a better guy in the locker room for these youngsters to watch right now.

I will leave it at that! Thank you for reading and have a great day ! GO SHARKS !

Who gave you the "C" NCShark? no, you provide well written blogs frequently. We all appreciate the hard work Ryan puts in, and yourself as well. JR is helping this team out. He gave his 500th goal puck to Doug Wilson by the way, as a payment of thanks for giving me a job.

CaptShark it is! (Truncated version will be CS or Cap'n or just Cap.) Congrats to JR and the honor bestowed on him by Sharks fans. It's good that you were able to be there and witness it live. Later Cap.
