Canucks Fever

It's been a while since I could sit down and enjoy a nice Canuck playoff game. It's not the same when you're team isn't in the big show. And I'm finding it very difficult to stay focused on my work as I'm anxious to get home to watch the game on the tube.

I suppose I'll watch the Pittsburgh / Ottawa game first. To be honest I'm routing for Crosby. Don't care too much for those Eastern Canadian teams. Go Penguins!

Dallas and Vancouver match up pretty evenly in the statistics department. It'll be a pretty close first round. Yet most fans I talked to said they preferred this matchup. Personally I would have liked a Detroit or Calgary matchup. Mainly because of the history and intensity. And because playing Bert would have been cool.

Now we get to see how Luongo plays in his first playoff series. I wasn't expecting much from the boys this year. It felt like a rebuilding year but they certainly haven't treated it like it was one. If we get far this year imagine how far we'll get next year!!

The future is bright in Vancouver, no doubt. As long as we have Bobby Lou, we will ice a very competitive team.

It rolls off the tongue so nicely though. First time I heard the name was in that video "Trappers Delight" on Youtube. Not crazy about it but thought the video was histerical.

Well...I hope you enjoyed your little run. I hope you do better next year. Hey, maybe you will end up facing the Oilers in the conference finals! That would be pretty cool!
