HELP ME!

Posted 1:38 PM ET | Comments 4
So I'm busy AGAIN tonight, and this would mean missing TWO broadcasts in a row, which I don't think I can handle. Does anyone know if a radio station in New York City plays it? Normally, I listen to all the game on internet radio so I can hear Rick Jeanneret's broadcast. If RJ's play-by-play is unavailable, what is the radio station that has the Islanders' broadcast? Is it any good, or is it ridiculously biased?

Second question: I'm going to the game on Wednesday, but I don't exactly know how to get to the Nassau Coliseum. I bought my LIRR tickets to Hempstead last weekend (I'm still waiting for them to come in the mail!), but how to I get from the Hempstead station to the Coliseum? Apparently I have to take a bus, but how do I get on it and how much will it cost?

Thanks if any of you can help with this. I wish I could say more about Game 2, but I only listened to maybe ten minutes in total.

Are you going to be away from an Internet connection?

I'm going to be on campus so I think I'll be lugging my laptop around, but it would just be easier if I could listen to the game on a handheld radio. I also can't guarantee wireless connection all the time either.

Hey ERBY, The Islanders are on Bloomberg 1130am with Steve Mears and Chris King. Steve is a 1st year young guy who calls the game well (although I do miss John W.) and Kinger has been with the team since the 90's and really know's the game. A nice tandem to listen to. Getting to the Coliseum is a bit tricky and is best done by car. I am not 100% sure how to get there from Hempstead, I do know you have to take a cab or bus. You would be better off staying in the Marriot in Uniondale which is right next door to the Coliseum. You can just walk right to the game. Good luck tonight, the atmosphere should be awesome!

Need some assistance - I was trying to write something on Myhockeybuzz, but it didn't post. Where do I go to write one of these?
