So, cause I have some time on my hands (cue the Styx references, LOL), here is one man's prediction on how the top 10 draft picks go:

1. Edmonton-Connor McDavid C
What? You're surprised? Yeah, didn't think so. Edmonton makes the obvious choice and likely looks to deal one of their other young forwards for some help on D.

2. Buffalo-Jack Eichel C
Some consolation prize, eh? Buffalo sets themselves up at the center spot for the next decade with the one-two punch of Eichel and Reinhart.

3. Toronto-Dylan Strome C
The Leafs want a shot at a future #1 center more than anything. They trade the 4th pick and their 2nd round pick in 2016 to move up one spot to get him.

4. Arizona-Noah Hanifan D
The Yotes end up getting the guy they wanted all along once the ping pong balls failed to come through for them and they pick up an early 2nd rounder as well. Arizona is drooling over a future top pairing of Hanifan and OEL.

5. Carolina-Mitch Marner RW/C
Yeah, the Canes could use a defenseman badly, but Marner is just too damn talented to pass up.

6. New Jersey-Matthew Barzal C
Uncle Lou gets, he hopes, his future #1 center with the 6th pick.

7. Colorado-Ivan Provorov
The Avs need to add talent on the back end badly. They send the 10th and 40th pick and a 3rd round pick in 2016 to Philly for Nick Grossmann and the 7th pick and grab the swift skating Provorov.

8. Columbus-Pavel Zacha C/LW
Big, mean, skilled and European, he's Jarmo's kind of guy.

9. San Jose-Lawson Crouse LW
The Sharks, even though they struggled in 14-15, look at the Pacific division and probably think that they can get right back into the playoffs in 15-16. So, they go out and grab perhaps the most NHL ready of the remaining prospects.

10. Philadelphia-Mikko Rantanen RW
The Flyers get something they can badly use in their system. A big, skilled winger with a nose for the net.

Well, that's that, comments are always appreciated. Thanks!

Problem.....the Leafs do not have a 2nd round pick this year.

Leafs previously traded this years 2nd round pick to La. Who then traded it to Columbus in the gaborik trade. So no 2nd round to give arizona

interesting, but as a leaf fan I see Hanifan as the 3rd pick, leafs then get who ever they want. No need to trade another 2nd pick. Should Arizona pass on Hanifan leafs should take him. Look at what some of the young Dmen have done for their teams lately. Good Dmen are harder to come by than good forwards

His comment on Leafs trading 2nd rounder was for 2016
