My 2013 Sabres lineup predictions (hope).

It seems the Sabres may be done with free agency and trades for the upcoming year. Honestly I am ok with that. I wish we could have picked up a veteran forward to help score goals and help the youngers guys but all in all I am looking into the season with optomism. Do I think the Sabres have a contending team? No. Do I think they are a borderline playoff team? No. To me this season is more of an experience aspect for the younger players. If Darcy doesnt bring up the kids this year for our "rebuilding" then he needs to be on his way out the door. If we are going to rebuild now is the time to give the kids a shot. With that being said my lineup predictions are as follows.

Kaleta Girgensons (Scott) Flynn
Defense
Myers Ristolainen (Tallinder)
Weber Ehrhoff
Zadorov Pysyk (Mcbain)

I am not in favor of trading Miller or Vanek because honestly I dont feel we will get the same value in return. They arent the players that will get you a 40 goal scorer. The only real value they have in my opinion is to us.

wheres porter? i think he should be on the starting roster over tropp.
Zadorov is definitely not going to be on the roster this season.
Leino sucks, should of bought him out
Porter is a center. Tropp plays the wing. Porter didnt make the list because Id rather have Grigo or Zegmus instead of him.
Leino i not worth the contract but we are stuck with him. I agree we should have bought him out but I could only work with whats there.
they just need to trade miller and include stafford or leino for a top line winger to play with vanek.
Imagine if buffalo could get M.Grabner from new york islanders to play with vanek. 2 austrians would be a perfect fit and would make vanek to want to stay and play better!
i like the way the sabres rebuild is going. good pieces moving forward. if hodgson makes that next jump and myers figures his problem out, things will turn around in a hurry.

If Vanek gets traded then keep Ennis for the wing. In my mind, you MUST have Grigo, Zemgus, Armia, and Pysyk on the opening day roster. Risto may be ready also.....Miller CANNOT be on the roster opening day......if the rebuild is to begin. Darcy needs to find a way for this to happen. Period.
