Video of the Day

With little to discuss between now and the preseason, when hockey begins again, I thought I'd begin a feature called "Video of the Day", which features some great moments from the Leafs 2006-07 season.

The first feature comes from a game against the Ottawa Senators on February 3rd, 2007. The Leafs and Sens, tied 2-2 after OT, go to a shootout. The Sens had been the hottest team in the East since January, while the Leafs were riding a hot streak of their own, undefeated since the All-Star break. Tonight's video is, in its full length, the shootout, which the Leafs won.

Particularly impressive is the fact that the winning goal was scored by John Pohl, while Andrew Raycroft was able to stop both Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza to preserve a shootout victory.
