Well folks, here it is, the moment you have all been waiting for. It appears under Coach Sutter this will not be the same old Devils. It will not be a sit back and wait for the opponent to bring the game to us wait for a mistake and pounce Devils. It will be an in your face, up tempo , aggressive forecheck Devils.

Now at first when Sutter said this at the begining of camp i said, yeah right but tonights line combinations for the last pre-season game is what he intends to start the season with. a few changes indeed, most shocking of all....there is no single checking line....Madden and Pandolfo are split and Madden has made the move to left wing (from where he scored two goals the other night against the Isles)

This year should be one wild and crazy ride.....here is the remaining line combos and roster spots with the only expected change is Corrente being returned to juniors.

The remaining roster:

Goalies: Martin Brodeur, Kevin Weekes

Defense: Vitaly Vishnevski, Colin White (inj.), Andy Greene, Paul Martin, Richard Matvichuk, Karel Rachunek, Johnny Oduya, Mike Mottau, Matt Corrente.

Forwards: Zach Parise, John Madden, Brian Gionta, Jamie Langenbrunner (inj.), Dainius Zubrus, Mike Rupp, Sergei Brylin, Travis Zajac, Jay Pandolfo, Arron Asham, Cam Janssen (inj.), Patrik Elias, David Clarkson, Rod Pelley, Nicklas Bergfors.

The Lines:

Elias-Zubrus-Bergfors
Parise-Zajac-Gionta
Madden-Pelley-Asham
Pandolfo-Brylin-Clarkson(or)Rupp

Defensive pairs havent been solidified but look for Andy Greene to at least be in the discussion for the Calder, last season he played 2 games short of the cutoff, he will not win this word but he will be noticed in a positive way. He was +6 in the playoffs last season and one of the few steady bright spots in an otherwise lackluster defensive showing in last seasons playoffs.
