Second Round Predictions PART I

I know this is a little late since the second round has already started...but here is what I think could happen in the second round of the playoffs.


Western Conference

(1) San Jose
vs.
(5) Detroit

Prediction: San Jose in 6
Synopsis: Even knowing that San Jose is up 2-0 in the series, I unfortunately think that Detroit's experience will allow them to win a couple of games. More than likely they will win at least one at home. Mike Babcock's coaching added with the experience and leadership of Nicklas Lidstrom will give the unsteady-Sharks a run for their money. However, the emergence of the Sharks' secondary scoring has allowed them to steal some games. Pavelski and Setoguchi are really starting to step up, and Thornton is finally scoring some goals in the playoffs. San Jose might finally be ready for a run at the cup.
