Dog Days of Summer

It sure is a good thing that the Phillies are playing well. I cannot wait for the season to start. I like some of the moves that the Flyers have made, and not as thrilled about others.

Recently the signing of Olie who? Why? They have 6 defensemen on the NHL roster, have a few serviceable guys in the AHL. Why add another guy to the mix. I have honestly never heard of this guy!

Draft:
Old news but my blog was missing for most of the summer due to some technical difficulties with HockeyBuzz. I love the deal for Pronger. They didn't give up too much. They cleared cap space with Lupul. They had a bunch of defensemen and traded the guy with the least experience. They gave up 2 draft choices, which are alot of guesswork. All this for one of the top 3 or 4 defensemen in the league. Way to go Homer!

They still need a proven winger. I guess they could play Briere and Giroux on the wing and play Richards and Carter at the top 2 center positions. I prefer to add a winger like Shanahan to play with Carter and Hartnell. Put Briere with Gagne and Giroux. Put Richards with Lapiere and Powe as a shutdown line.

On defense I say split the 3 guys we have to always have 1 on the ice. Coburn/Carle, Timonen/Jones and Pronger/Parent.

If (and that is the biggest word in this post) Emery has matured, the Flyers got a steal. He is talented, but has been known to go "off the reservation" in the past. Let's hope he stays in the game. Boucher is a class act and the perfect backup. He won't make waves, and if asked to he will carry the team. We all remember the playoff run he took us on!

Let's start the season early!

When it comes to choosing the best pet food, many people would go for the Herbal Supplements For Dog. But this is not a good idea. You need to choose the best food that meets your dog's nutritional needs.
