From the Hockey News. How can you leave Kimmo Timonen off the top 50 players and have Nicklas Kronwell on the list. Would any GM give up Kimmo for Kronwell? Also, how is Mike Richards number 28? How many teams in the NHL want him on their team?

I do like the Nucks this year. Philly can't be 3 in the east. Washington has problems on the back end. Pitt is going to drop off. Detroit cant be 3 in the west either. Jersey is too good with Brodeur to miss the playoffs. But isn't is AWESOME to be talking hockey again!!!

InTheCorners - Philly and detroit cannot be third... you have other teams from their divisions already in the top 3. Im assuming you're ranking by points then, however in that case Philly and Det would still be ranked 4th in their respective conferences.

Oh and just opening this up to anyone... what do you think about a Jason Blake ($4M/yr for 3 years) to FLORIDA for Rotislav Olesz ($3.125/yr for 5 years). Helps Florida's improve scoring, and Toronto gets a young player who showed a lot of two-eay upside in the past, but struggled with injuries last season putting up horrible numbers.

I think that the leafs wont be able to dump Blake that easy....and why would Florida take a young guy and trade him for a never was with a bigger cap hit just to save 2 years of contract time?

Not bad predictions...on the Blake trade well we likely need to throw in a prospect or pick to make that trade happen but Frolik I could say playing well with Grabo, Poni or Kuley!

Another idiot who has Montreal making the playoffs. They have crap on defence and a bunch of smurfs up front who will quake in their boots when they are on the raod. Swiss cheeses boy in nets. Ottawa was one of the hottest teams at the end of the year - they've added Leclaire in nets - Kovalev(2nd line scoring) and will have Heatley or a package of guys to compliment the team. U obviously much watch more horse jumping or figure skating than hockey.

Idiot is a understatement. But what do you expect from a philly fan? Philly in the finals, yeah that'll happen. LMAO!

Yeah, Blake wont be easy to trade, which is why this is the only trade i see even remotely possible and at least reasonable for both teams. I guess it all comes down how to how Florida sees Olesz; if they have given up on him somewhat, it could work.

8th? Really? I know the offense is questionable but it's not THAT bad, honestly
