Christmas in April?

I woke up this morning the this most amazing feeling. Yeah, I had to work, but that is just daily thing for me now, you know like showering (for some of us). Today is probably the single most intriguing day of hockey and up here in Canada, we get to watch all of it.

Thanks to our passion and love of the game of hockey, TSN and CBC will be showing double-headers. The action begins in approximately one hour with CBC's coverage of Sid the kid and his Penguins taking on the chokers in Ottawa, then about 1/2 hour later TSN breaks open their Stanley Cup action with Joltin Joe and the Sharks taking on Foppa and the Preds. Oh but it doesn't stop there, CBC will follow-up with the Canucks and Stars and TSN will have the Ducks and Wild.

I think CBC has the better lineup. Can't say much for their broadcast crew though. at least it will be better than TSN's.

CBC got screwed bigtime on the Saturday night game... the NHL put the Sens-Pens in the afternoon so NBC can show it... so now the Saturday night CBC matchup is none other than New Jersey and Tampa... don't get me wrong, great game, but it is the CANADIAN broadcasting corporation, and Hockey Night in CANADA... looks like the NHL isn't "My NHL" but the Corporate, Business NHL

TSN has a quality broadcast but you are correct, CBC's game line-up takes the cake.

Barry, your a leafs fan enough said. 40 years! No, all joking aside the CBC did get jobbed on the Saturday night game but there isn't much you can do when the big old George Washington (American Dollar) is talking.

Even though they didn't get the Sens-Pens when they wanted, I agree, better line-up than TSN. I also agree 40 years is a long time, but thank God i've only been around for the last 19. Funny thing, every 'Nucks fan I know lists Bulis as one of their most hated; can't say I've seen much of the guy this year, but that probably explains it. I'll admit, I'm a Canucks fan for the next couple of months, better than going for Ottawa. Go Nucks!

CBC is paying more than NBC. At least that's what I read this morning.

Ok, we will let you on the bandwagon but only because you have only been around for 19 years and you didn't make some smart remark about how the Canucks have never won it. To that I say what I say to every leafs fan, at least we've been to the final 2 times in the last 37 years; the leafs have done nothing since the league went from 6 - 16 teams! LOL! As for Bulis, I have no comment from the guy except....no nothing sorry.
