Tippett gets 1 Year Extension.

Kudos to the Stars for giving Dave Tippett a contract extension. He has done a great job in Dallas overcoming injuries last year and a slow start and more injuries this year. 1 Year extensions seem to be the norm these days. He only needs to figure out how to get his team on a deeper playoff run easier said than done. With all the good teams in the Pacific making the playoff is not a given. It's good one Dallas sports team recognizes good coaching. Happy New Year to all!!
