As the circus get's ready to complete it's first week in Big D, the Stars were able to mix in a hockey game between Avery circus . Marty Turco posted the win stopping 27 shots; outdueling Peter Budaj. Not missed in all the saves was Marek Svatos he was all over the ice creating plenty of scoring chances. Scoring with 55 seconds left on a sweet pass from Paul Stastny to tie the game and ruin Turco's bid for his first shutout. The game went to a shootout where Wolski undressed Turco and Modano scored the winner. Modano has been the teams best player since Brendon Morrow's injury and will have to continue if the Stars hope to stay out of the cellar.
