Howdy from Ottawa.

Looks like negotiations with Sens forward Chris Neil are going poorly as both sides are far apart on the money. As written yesterday, if Neil wants more than Ruutu than he is gone. It appears he wants more than Ruutu and if that doesn't change by or before March 4th (I highly doubt it will) then Chris Neil will no longer be a Senator.

So what is the expected return from a Chris Neil trade? I can't see it being awhole heck of alot, but who knows. Your thoughts?

If they can get a third round pick for him, they should grab it and run.

You guys want Vandermeer and/or Roy and/or Primeau for Neil? (Sigh, didn't think so...)

LOL, wishful thinking RinkLighter. A-Mar I like the idea of a 3rd or 4th in return for Neil. I know everyone is saying he could be a key pickup at the deadline but I just don't see him being that much of an impact player on a 'GOOD' team. Keep in mind his biggest impact on the Sens this season is fighting and we all know fighting doesn't exist come post-season. None the less, wish Neil the best as he has been a good Senator for alot of years.
