Who should the Devils trade for?

It has been rumored that the Devils are interested in several players such as Shattenkirk, Spooner, and Vatanen. Any one of these players can definitely improve the Devils' lineup in the short-run and long-run. But what other players can really boost the current players in the lineup?
Jordan Eberle of the Edmonton Oilers can be a target for the Devils as he has been slightly underperforming compared to his previous years. Eberle already has chemistry playing with Taylor Hall in Edmonton and can bring more speed to the Devils lineup. The Devils would have to trade a couple of early round picks to get this deal done in my opinion. Eberle is sort of falling out of favor for the Oilers.
Another player on the radar would be Vladimir Sobotka from the Blues. He hasn’t received that much playing time for the Blues over the years, but has the potential to become a star player on a team as the Devils. He is a smart player who can forecheck and make a pass to a finisher such as Palmieri. A player that that would go back in return would be Jacob Josefson and a mid-round pick. Josefson has been effective in certain situations for the Devils such as the powerplay, but still has not found consistency in his game. This trade would make both teams better off and provide the players with a fresh start.
The future is definitely looking very bright for the Devils as they have plenty of options moving forward into the next season. There is a desperate need for offense and for defense. The best solution is to acquire a offensive defensemen. When Nolan Patrick joins the lineup he will establish himself as a two way player nonetheless. Acquiring a defensemen such as Matt Dumba or Nathan Beaulieu would be perfect for the Devil's system. The Devils would not have to give up too much as they already have numerous valuable assets.

They would have to be early round to get the job done. Do you think it would be worth giving up 2 2nds for Eberle?
Forget about it. The Oilers wont trade Eberle for 2 seconds . He hasnt fallen out of favour with management either....just a few dickhead Oilers fans.
Yes it would be tough for the Devils to acquire him. He is still a very good player, producing at a decent rate, and providing that speed that every team needs. Devils would have to entertain the Oilers with a very good offer.

Eberle would be a perfect fit for the Devils and what they are trying to build. I know Eberle has been waiting a long time to finally be on an established team..but the Devils have the chance to be in a good position next season by adding Patrick/Hischier to the lineup, maybe Kovalchuck, and UFA player. If Schneider jumps back and Zacha improves upon his play from last season the Devils will win much more games.

McDavid and a 3rd round pick for Zajac, Zacha, 2018 1st round pick, and a 2nd round pick... is it a good trade?

Zajac had a decent season last year. He posted some good stats. His production would definitely rise if the Devils acquired a player such as Sobotka, Spooner, or Eberle.

I meant Winnipeg would trade Little for Vatanen. If NJD wants Vatanen they should give up Zajac and Jonathan Bobby for Vatanen.
Winnipeg would be overpaying by sending Little for Vatanen. Ducks would need to add a draft pick or prospect.
The Jets could use a defenseman. Trouba, Morrisey, and Byfuglien isn't a good enough top 4.

yes, Zajac for 1 or 2 jonathan's. If it's 1 they could get a pick in the deal probably, and if it's 2 they'd have to add a pick to Zajac for 2 jonathans.
