GO LEAFS GO! What a beautiful sound to hear when you are watching a Toronto Maple Leafs ‘road’ game? UH? Exactly what is wrong with the fans that go to the ACC and watch the Leafs. Honestly you pretentious bunch of F****. There are millions of Leafs fans around Canada and the world that would cheer so loud at the games that they would be horse and have a pounding headache from the atmosphere. I am not trying to attack the GTA, because I have a lot of friends from the GTA, however I am attacking those individuals who have never left the big smoke (well except for the weekend trips to the cottage in the Muskoka’s, oh yeah by the way you are also ruining cottage country) who feel it is the center of the universe. Kind of like people from Kingston or Sudbury who feel that if either one of there cities didn’t exist the universe itself would collapse. HAHA. I am just kidding, but seriously Sudbury sucks. I have been to Montreal to see the Leafs and that was an awesome game, not only because the Leafs beat the Habs, but because the fans at that game understood hockey, and they did it in another language (how about that eh!). Watching a game on HNIC depresses me in two ways; first because after each period the douche bags in the platinum’s are so late from grabbing there double mocha cappuccinos or their Michelob lights that they miss the first 5 minutes. And secondly because of a hole politicians in ‘la belle province’, which I feel is not a true representations of how Quebecor’s look at it, censor sport personalities such as the Don. Give Saku Koivu a frigging break, that guy has been the heart and soul of the Canadians for years now (as a leafs fan I must hate him, but I do respect his courage and attitude). Sorry about that last tangent, but I had to get that off my chest.
Back to the Leafs. Everyone in the Leafs nation who swears to bleed blue and white are crying for the team to rebuild, Ok. However at the same time the Leafs management state that the fans won’t allow for it, OK. Then the media says that they need to retool rather than rebuild because the fans won’t allow a rebuilding, OK. Hold on is anyone else as confused as I am at what the Leafs are suppose to do? Why can’t the Leafs rebuild? Every team in the existence of sports needs a few years to slow it down, re-group and bring in a bunch of young talent that will help the team later on down the road. That is called a cycle my friends and every business has to do it now and then, because they will never be the dominate force in the market forever. Sometimes a little competition is a good thing for business, hint hint. Anywho, as a True Blue Leafs fan I think that all fans of ‘Gods Team’ as my dear friend Benjamin Williams calls it, we should unite and stand and cheer for the Leafs. As my alma matter Bishops University fans cheer “Win or Loose, we still booze”. So to sum up my point of this article, which I would like to apologize for wasting the last 5 minutes of you life, don’t boo the leafs, cheer the leafs. If we take the fans out of the equation then the people in charge of our beloved Maple Leafs will be shown for the frauds they are (but I do love Paul Maurice, I am really only calling JFJ a but head).
P.S. I hate the Ottawa Senators and everything they stand for. Fags. (Roy and Fawty are gay).

TG, BeLeafer.

a little ranty and homophobic, but the "thrust" of the article is true - CHEER YOUR DAMN TEAM!Have fun at games - if they are losing...drink more (snuck in ) beerHINT 20$ to a guard and they'll look the other way...

ummm..... how bout the leafs suck, more so year after year, yet the ticket prices go up, and they don't really spend on making the team better. i feel bad for leaf fans (living in TO now). i've been to every building in canada to watch an nhl game except ottawa and vancouver, and the ACC was hands down the quietest of the bunch.quite an immature article at the end there. really hope that the leafs somehow sneak into 8th spot and get swept by the senators in the first round, just to shut leaf fans up about the "well u can make a joke of us during the season, but u'll never beat us in the playoffs" argument.

I dont really blame the fans WHO PAY FOR TICKETS to boo when they are upset with the product on the ice. Mabye they're boos will one day be heard by the greedy executives of MLSE and they will put some people in charge who care less about making money (which who do have to do) and more about entertaining fans with good hockey (just as important as the money, infact in basically every market you need the good team before you get the dough, Toronto and the other Canadian markets are the exceptions).

You call your self a fan of good hockey but refer to the best team in canada as fags? Saying things like that is way worse then booing at a game. We boo because promises were made to the fans(we will be a playoff team and contend for the cup, P.M>) and they are not living up to it. If they came out this season and told the fans that instead of going after 5 million dollar players they were going to rebuild the team the fans would not be as harsh as they are. This is Toronto man, we expect always to win because that is what we are told we will do. Stats dont lie and this team sucks.
