Congratulations to Dustin Brown on being named the new Captain of the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings who are the 2nd youngest team by age (Hawks are the youngest) in the NHL also named Anze Kopitar and Matt Greene as the Assistant Captains. The youth movement is alive and growing in LA.

Brown, a native of Ithaca, New York, lead the NHL in hits last season and is a punishing hitter and non stop grinder. He can also light the lamp as evidenced by his team leading 33 goals last season. The Kings have made an excellent selection. Congratulations to Dustin Brown.

Brown totally deserves it. However, I, too, can't help but think Army got shafted for not getting the A.
