Talkin' Isles (and Bolts) on MVN.com

Later today, I'll be taping a guest spot on <a href=http://mvn.com/thehockeyticket/>The Hockey Ticket with Noah Borer</a> on mvn.com. Noah had Steven Hindle, hockeybuzz's <a href=http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?blogger_id=98>Capitals blogger</a>, on <a href=http://mvn.com/thehockeyticket/2007/12/09/caps-a-glance-around-the-nhl-player-of-the-week/>a recent episode</a> and his show is really beginning to take off.

We'll be discussing all things Islanders, as well as my thoughts on the Tampa Bay Lightning (as <a href=http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?blogger_id=90>hockeybuzz's official Lightning blogger</a>.) I hope to avoid spending too much time on the Chris Simon situation, though it will be addressed.

More likely, I'll be throwing ... um ... "stuff" to the wall and seeing if any of it sticks, in terms of figuring out how the Isles might score more goals here real soon. Hopefully, Garth and Ted are doing a bit more than that themselves.

We'll also discuss Kyle Okposo's leaving Minnesota, Rick DiPietro keeping the Isles in the playoff hunt despite the goal drought, the Blog Box and other Isles-related topics.

As I said, the interview will be taped today and, when it is scheduled to air, I'll certainly post a link for all of you.
