"Nashville Predators"
Good game from Nashville. Preds come back from a 2 goal deficit and score the final 3. Sullivan left the game in the 1st. Later it was released it was a groin injury and was held out as a precaution. Just yesterday Sully mentioned "his groin" on his twitter account:

"ice bags all day today on the groins".

Enough of the groin talk lets get to the game.

Overall Observations

Nick Spaling: Good solid game. Stats aren't much, but he did a good job defensively and had 4 SOG.

Jordin Tootoo: Being is normal agitating self. 1 assist, 1 fight. Had 1 really good hit and then had a bout with Tommy Sestito. It was a good tussle with Tootoo winning. Tommy Sestito hit his head on the ice and was out cold with blood on the ice. A scary moment, but a few minutes later he left the ice without a stretcher. He went to Vanderbilt hospital where they say he is alert and doing OK.

Bllum: Made some good plays. You can see him as a quarterback on the powerplay. Really good patience and stick handling skills.

Ward: Ward being Ward. Hard to knock of the puck, drove to the net and screened the goalie on the game winning goal by Weber.

Arnott/Dumont: Looking like they are in mid-season form this pre-season. Hopefully prevents a slow start to the season like last year.

Klein: Looking comfortable the 4 spot on the defense and ended the game with a plus 2.

Jones: Good goal getting open in front and putting the scoring chance in the net. In front of the Blue Jackets goalies all night.

Weber: Tough to stop that slapper. Was a beast on defense and got the game winning goal.

Up Next:

Preds head to Atlanta, before coming back to Nashville to finish the preseason.
