Sabres Shutout Preds, Waste Rinne's Great Effort

The Sabres behind Ryan Miller's 25 saves shutdown the Preds 1 to 0. Rinne on the other end made 41 out of 42 saves, but gave up his only goal with a little over 3 minutes remaining in the 3rd on a rebound goal by Grier.

No Offense (D) - Every line really didn't produce many scoring chances. Just overall a bad night offensively. Erat with ZERO shots on goal. With the top line held in check, no other line could produce. This is going to be the glaring weakness with this team.

Erat (D) - 0 shots on goal, minus 1. Made some bad turnovers, held the puck to long. He really needs to get it going.

Santorelli - Minus 1. Looked shaky and didn't make good decisions with the puck. Continues to shoot from poor angles and not creating much offensively. If he doesn't start producing Trotz will have to do something quickly.

Rinne (A) - Great game from Rinne. Made stop after stop. You have to feel bad for a guy that made some many great saves and gets a loss.

Next game is Monday Night against the Oilers in Nashville.
