What it all Comes Down to!

As I sit here watching the Avs play the Ducks I think I just watched a team lose a game simply because it looks like they don't care. It looks like they are deflated and defeated already. The work ethic is not there, they don't go to the areas where they might be punished for breaking the puck out of the defensive zone.

There is absolutely no transition game. The forwards can't move through the neutral zone, they get clogged up at their own blue line.

I am not a person who calls for things to get blown up often, but I think it is time for a serious change. Start with Giguere. Other than signing Smyth he hasn't done much for this team. Granato should be next, sorry Tony. He hasn't shown that he can lead a group of guys from the bench.

For many years our team relied heavily on free agency, and then even bigger trades to get what we wanted. With the CBA those days are now over. The Avs draft well, but tend to trade some of those assets away as well. Tanguay being an example of losing home grown talent. Mr. Kroenke if you want to keep your cash cow investment in the Avs strart shaking some things up please.

If they come back and win tonight, I may digress. That however is very doubtful.
