Sidney, Sidney, Sidney

Hey pens fans,
So, about a month ago Crosby broke his left foot blocking a shot. He has been playing through it, obviously. He just announced he will miss worlds to let it heal properly. And FYI, if you don't remember him breaking his foot, don't feel bad, neither do I and it was not on the injury reports, i already checked.

He was hobbled a bit in a game by a shot. The break was probably just a crack in the bone...I have done it twice. If there is no danger of causing further damage, then the best thing is to stay off of it (no surgery) and let it heal. Of course, if you play hockey, then you PLAY HOCKEY...just as Sid did. Both of my breaks were from shots. I kept playing because I hate missing games. The hardest part of it is WALKING...skating, unless there is a lot of swelling, is actually easier...at least it was in my case.
