Well it is a long weekend here in the states. There is not much hockey going on anywhere right now. I couldn't even get people together to play a pick up game.

I am anxious for the Stanley cup finals to start and dread it all at the same time. I am not a supporter of either team. Do I have a favorite? why, yes, but neither team is in my top 10 for NHL teams to root for. The Stanley Cup finals mean that the NHL season is that much closer to being done until September with training camp.
That mean severe hockey withdrawal.
Yes, of course I still have my champion indoor team to play hockey with all summer but it is nice to have hockey to watch.
These are the days that make it hard to be patient and wait for next season. It is too early even for Free Agency and the Draft. It is just a long stretch and when it is 90 plus degrees and super humid that just makes time pass that much slower. Hang in there hockey fans let's keep going together hockey rinks will soon be brimming again with lots of activity.
