Shout out to the practice crew

There was not alot of spectators there today but I did notice that there seemed to be a very young news crew doing a story and taking footage of Flyers practice. I thought that was kinda cool.

So anyway I always have some story.
Go to practice got in my spot and this lady started putting signs up all around me. Then she walked off. I have seen her at practices and things before but I had not seen her do quite as much as I saw today. I took a picture from the other side of all her handy work just because I don't think anyone would believe it with out a pic.
So to all the players who were reading the signs and laughing. The lady in this below pic that was all her

Anyways on to Flyers stuff.

IT was really nice to see Randy Jones and Ryan Parent practicing with the team. I know that they have been practicing for a while with the team but I hadn't been since they have been back.

They did work hard today too. Seemed like today's theme was puck possession as about half the practice was hard board battles.

Aaron Asham was the lone player to stop for the folks waiting in the cold for players for autographs while I was there.

Ahhh, they call the sign lady "the Stalker"

Those signs were very odd... Great photos as usual, Nic... Ashcan looked cold; the others came off smart... you came off as a die-hard warrior :O) ... I can't say that I am impressed with Marty's new 'tribute' mask; I'm very disappointed with it, in fact.

Thanks again Ladynic! I was hoping to see a report that said Marty was working feverishly on his puck handling and decision making. Guess I'll have to be satisfied with more of your great pics. Hmmm...next time you go to practice could you maybe ask the stalker lady to make a sign telling Marty to practice his puck handling? j/k, i wouldn't want you to talk to her unless you had to. :-)

My pleasure boys. Seems like a slow Flyers day. Marty is usually at the other end so I can't really tell you what he worked on til I moved that way for the board battles

Im liking Biron's helmet...good work as always Nic

I don't think I see Carle in any of your photos. Did he practice today? We need him back in the lineup asap (imo).

He did practice but not with the team. He and Nate Raduns (broken nose) practiced on the Phantoms side.

Perhaps the new mask is endowed with a Marty Brodeur-like ability to handle the puck? More likely, Reggie magically enchanted the mask to make the wearer forget he has the ability to play the puck at all...you are feeling very sleepy...sleepy...sleeeeeee (thud)SYF

thanks for the great practice report. Marty needs to try to practice instead of using a new mask, besides nitty's mask is better anyway.

Flyers 88 Maybe the eyes holes on McFly's new mask are bigger?

Lukin my pleasure. Marty didn't roll the new helmet out til practice had been semi officially over and players work on their own little things. Marty donned the new mask and then took shots for 5-7 minutes from different angles. Testing out the mask a bit. I am usually down Niitty's end so I can't say what Marty did all practice.

Well as long as next time he realizes that a play is icing maybe he won't touch it and pass it to the other team. Otherwise i still have not liked any of his masks really.

It wasn't icing. There was a fraction of a second left on the penalty when Marton shot it down the ice...and the official waved it off before Marty played it.

whoops. my bad, either way though he shouldn't of played it and just let coburn go get it.
