Buffalo

This is the first time I am posting a blog so forgive me if I offend anyone.

First and foremost I am a rabid Sabres fan. I get anxious every summer waiting for Hockey to start again. I have been to HSBC to watch the the pre-season practices all the way to playoff games. Sadly those days are gone. Now the closest I can get is TV or WGR Radio online. BTW- WGR is the best sports station IMO.

I went on a Gambling Cruise Ship a few weeks ago in Cocoa Beach and was waiting in line to get off the ship and got into a conversation with the lady about Hockey. She asked me who my favorite team was and I pointed at my Sabres T-shirt and she rolled her eyes. I wanted to bit@# slap her but held my temper because after all I am a lady.

Let me stop this crap before I cry.

I didn't get to see game 1 of the Stanley Cup (Thanks to Dish Network, WFLA-NBC and the NHL). I was caught in no mans land in between Tampa and Orlando so I couldn't even pick it up on SunSports where they said it would be. So anyway, I tried all the online sites and saw some of the game but it sucked because the feeds were not very good. The announcers were no comparison to RJ.

Last nights game was what I expected. What do we want when the NHL has them play 3 games in 4 nights. Everyone looked tired and much slower than game 2. I hated the non-calls especially too many men. I sat on the edge of my bed screaming at the TV.

I watched every 4th round play-off game and hoped Washington and Chicago would win but it was not to be. I sent my son an e-mail after the second game between Chicago and Detroit and told my son nobody could beat Detroit.

So I am sticking with it.

BTW will someone PLEASE put an enormous check on Cindy!

Thanks jt!I can't see the front office paying 6 mill plus for Havlat. I have watched Cammallari for two years now and I think he would be a good fit for the Sabres. We can only hope.

Well, first of all money talks, big time, and second, the sabres were in the playoff picture for the whole season but miller, vanek, and connolly were all injured. Tell me another team in the league that had to deal w their top three players out? No excuses, but honestly we have the goaltending and alot of other teams don't. The flyers and habs can be leaped over for that reason, as long as miller stays healthy. We will be in the top 6.
