The Flames signed Scott Hannan to a one year deal worth one million dollars. It's an okay signing but the Flames are stuck once again doing the exact same thing. Come read more here:

You sure dont see the big picture in this signing, maybe nothing Feaster does will make you happy. If he swung a big Begosian deal you would criticize that too.

Don't really see where you're coming from Newman... Everyone has been complaining how thin the Flames are on D when Regehr was dealt... when Feaster makes a signing I read complaints from the writers on this about taking a spot away from a prospect... make up your mind people...

Feaster has said the best players will play regardless of their contract status... the culture of the team was changed last season... the players in Abbotsford will be given every chance to make the team and earn a spot... that's right I said MAKE THE TEAM, not have a spot handed to them... Newman, why would you want to change the culture of the team towards a culture of entitlement? That mistake was already made with Dion.

It was decided the team wasn't going to be blown up and would compete for a playoff spot... so then Feaster should give the team the best chance possible of actually making the playoffs... right?... Sorry for the rant, but I really don't get what you are even writing about... the best payers should play. Period.
