Time to turn up the heat

44 minutes to puck drop.
The flames take on the desert dogs tonight in Phoenix. The desert dogs last season were the huge underdogs throughout and had a tremendous season crossing 50 win and 100 point plateau.
The coyotes, though, have had a rocky start to the season (much like the flames) and the last year's surprise factor has disappeared. They still have a solid goaltender in Bryzgalov and a decent forward and defense lineup. They are missing Shane Doan, who has been the face of this franchise for ever so many years, due to injury. Wolski has been in the doghouse for parts of this season and the big ticket acquisition of last year's trade deadline will be looking to bring his A game tonight and cement his position in the top 6.

For the flames, they look to get a win streak going, being only 4 points from the basement of the conference. They, though, only trail the canucks by 6 points and also have a game in hand which means that a win streak can vault them to the top of the standings.

This game is an important one for Calgary to win to avoid falling too much behind and having to play catchup through the rest of the season.

I have a feeling that Iginla will have a strong game tonight in the desert and will show the arizona team how the game is actually played.

Hoping for a flames win
