Hey everyone. Sorry for no blog after Game 5, my internet has been down a few days. I can't say I didn't mind not blogging about the game in our nation's capital. Briefly before I get to my Game 6 preview. What a show put on by the Caps! Was there a time Ovechkin was on the ice and you didn't see him? He was everywhere, and he topped off a great game with a highlight reel goal undressing Morris and beating Lundqvist. If you are a positive fan like myself, you look for the brighter side from Game 5. Dubinsky, Callahan, and yes even Zherdev. I have been a huge Zherdev fan for a few years now, and when one of my friends told me they should let him go we got into an on and off argument for about 2 hours during the game. First, how could you let one of your top scorers go? Second, he's in a slump. Not getting ice time. Not getting respect. Game 5 Tortorella gave him more time and he answered with a few good scoring chances. He keeps on geting that ice time he will net a couple.

Speaking of Torts, we will be without his services this afternoon. If you missed it or haven't read or viewed it online yet, Rangers head coach will be suspended one game by the league for his actions taken towards a Washington fan sitting behind the Rangers bench. All in all it looked like an innocent thing, wrong on both sides. Either way it's funny how karma works huh? Torts suspends Avery, then the league suspends Torts the next game with Avery being back in the lineup. Let's just hope Jim Schoenfeld can take this team to a victory and finally end this series.

After Game 5, you look for a lot of things to happen. The first thing is to start skating and don't stop skating!!! I can't count how many times this season i've said to my friends the Rangers are the laziest team in the NHL. Well that was proven Friday night all starting with the Caps first goal on the penalty kill. The Rangers want to win, they need to pick it up in every aspect of the game. As Torts was seen saying in his post game interview, they Rangers need their big guys to step up. The kids can't do it themselves.

Which Rangers team will we see tonight? Tune in 2pm on MSG (HD), TSN, or NBC. Rangers fans...GET LOUD!!! Let's show the team we are there for them. I want to see the Garden crowd as loud as it's ever been!!! LETS GO RANGERS!!! LOUDER! LETS GO RANGERS!!! LOUDER! LETS GO RANGERS!!!

Hauger's Random Thought: Bring back the intro video from the 1993-1995 season's!!!
