And yet, so accurate.
I freaking HATE the Flyers.
This isn't your garden-variety hate, like your 8 year old who hates peas.
It's a deep-seated hatred, as in when the Flyers plane crashes at the end of my block on their way out of Buffalo, I immediately run down to the end of my block to: A....make sure it really happened, and B.....dance on the wreckage.
And yet, with the way the standings currently shape up, and the way Philly's schedule runs for the remainder of the season, I will likely find myself having to (gulp) root for the Flyers several times throughout March and April.
OK, I think I just threw up a little.
The Flyers play the Rangers 4 times, the Panthers twice, and the Penguins once between now and the end of the regular season.......all games in which it would most likely be better for the Sabres if the Flyers won.

wow, over the top much? I'm a devils fan but I dont think I would ever wish death upon the Rangers...
Easy solution:3 points for a win, 1 point for a SO/OT loss, and 0 for a loss - would reduce the standings log jam, and means that teams could be back in control of their own destiny rather than hoping and praying for other teams to do the job for them.

I think he's being funny... at least I took it that way. Kinda like how I'm cheering for the Senators (gasp, blasphemy) because I will be damned if they beat my Leafs when they are both good and beat them at sucking in a lost season.

You went a little too far buddy, but I know what you tried to say. I hate the Pens with a passion, more than you hate the Flyers (probably), I hate them so much that if I had to root for them to win a few games so the Flyers had a chance to make the playoffs, I wouldn't do it...just went overboard with the plane crash, especially since you are in Buffalo.
