Bob Gainey has almost finished his signings ( he’s apparently looking for another d-man and support player). With the arrivals of Gomez, Cammaleri, Gionta, Spacek and Gill, i feel the Habs decided a change of air in the player’s room was more than necessary.
Considering the team never really clicked last year, i don’t see these signings as negative impact chemistry-wise but is the team better…more promising? I can’t tell, probably.
One thing i can tell you is any fan who appreciates physical play will find this season VERY long. Don’t get me wrong… I don’t mind winning, I just like to do it like a man that’s all. I’m still a follower but might avoid the Leafs-Habs match-ups…
