According to XM Home Ice Radio, there is a rumor that the Blues, Kings, and Blackhawks are working on a possible deal. The rumored deal has the Kings acquiring goalie Nikolai Khabibulin from Chicago and defenseman Jay McKee from St. Louis; St. Louis would get defenseman Tom Preissing from Los Angeles and forward Martin Havlat from Chicago; and Chicago would get St. Louis' 2009 second round draft pick and Los Angeles' 2009 seventh round draft pick.

Again, this is a rumor, so take it for what it's worth. If any more information comes out about this, I'll pass along the information.

Anyone that deals for Havlat needs to have their head examined. This is someone speculating on how to solve all of Chicago's salary cap problems. Pass.

Then again if you somehow pick up a Havlat that somehow manages to stay healthy...wow. I think(off the top of my head), this is his final year of his contract and I'd expect whoever has this guy come trading deadline time will trade him. Even if he's been healthy and the Blawkhawks are deep in the play off hunt one would imagine they'd be smart to trade him.
