With the Avalanche sitting in 8th Place, in a tight Western Conference. Meaning, on any given night you could be in 4th place or within a few loses and beeing out of the Playoff Picture and as low as 11th Place.

So, with that said. With the Trading Deadline Fast Approching. The Avalanche havent had any consistent Goaltending all year and the Defense not there on some night. Looking at the Players Available. The Best Bet for the Av's to go with they should go for Ray Emery......I know some of you might say. Are you crazy?......But, when on, he has proven to be a good goalie, Certainly Better that Peter Budaj, and other than last year, Craig Anderson hasnt been a proven Goaltender even tho he is only 30 he is still older than Ray Emery (28 Years Old).

Ray Emery got the Senators to the Stanley Cup Championship and Multiple Series Wins and Anderson has never won a Series yet. The Only thing that is standing in his way is his attitude. But, I think Being in Colorado would do him some good. The Avs usually flie under the radar when it comes to reporting so having Emery Out of Ottawa or Phliadelphia will make him concentrate on Hokey.

So, in my opinion. They should go for him. Because when it comes to the playoffs and you have 2 inconsistant Goaltenders it won't get you far. And I think they can go far with Emery in goal even if he is coming off a major knee injury.
