Relax or panic?

Well that seems to be the theme right now. Depending on your point of view and who you read. Yes that was a very bad loss last night to the Canes. It was a game that I was happy to miss (maybe that's why I'm not panicking).

Lets remember folks, it's really early in the season and we have seen what this team can do. As stated by many, they need to play hard every night and they let one slip. No excuses for that and by the sounds of it, they were working hard in the practice.

Maybe I'm just a glass half full type of person but I don't see need to freak out. It's early, this is the best time to fix this mistakes. Remember, the teams that do well fine tune at the start of the season and it's the Dec/Jan/Feb were you need to be sharp. That's the time when the Leafs will need to be on the ball and taking points in just about every game.

Panic! I've watched quit a few Leafs games over the years. I have the Ice package and enjoy the coverage and Don Cherry. So far the Leafs look like Crap-o-La. Granted they played the Sens twice but getting killed by the Canes? Things may change but I'm not to optimistic. My teams comes knocking tomorrow. Lets see what happens.

I wouldn't panic yet. Your d combined with one of the deepest Offenses in the league combined for... Okay, perhaps you should panic. Your D is... lets just say that a team of call ups would probalby look better.Sens, Canes, Rangers, I might even say the Isles, Phillie, Pittsburgh... so on and so forth. Plenty of great offensive talent in the east!Toskala looked solid though, but when your d creates opportunities for the opposing offense and screens their own goalie... Panic.

We're 4 games into the season, 3 of which we outplayed the opponent. Wake me up when all the Chicken Little's go home...
