Entering season #4- Jets 2.0

Posted July 12, 2014
This will be the 4th season for the Jets 2.0 and the only roster moves made since the draft and free agency were letting Olli Jokinen walk and signing Mathieu Perreault. The Perreault signing IMO was a great move, but not enough of a significant impact to change their fortunes for the upcoming season. Noel fired, Maurice hired

Posted January 12, 2014
Just moments before news broke with the firing of Winnipeg Jets head coach Claude Noel, I finished and submitted a blog stating that GM Kevin Cheveldayoff needed to make a move to appease Jets fans. Looks like he'd seen enough too after last night's poor showing and the home town team getting booed off the ice. Now enter Paul Maurice, who has coached the Leafs and Hurricanes(2 occasions) and ha... Read More »
