Time To Move On

When GM Mike Gillis was hired not more than two months ago, I felt a sigh of relif. Not a lot of Canuck fans have filled the bandwagon here on the left coast, however, Gillis promised "bold" moves and yesterday he delivered a "bold" move. WOW a GM in Vancouver sticking to his guns. So while Derek Boogaard sat on the Minnesota Wild bench and took the rare (and I stress...rare) shift Pinky and the Brain went to work. Boogey as the Wild faithful tend to refer to him, finished the game with a roughly 4:00 minutes of ice-time while Pinky and the Brain tallied 2 assists each enroute to helping their Captain Markus Naslund record his 10th career hat-trick as a Vancouver Canuck....
