NHL Power Rankings: Week 3 (Oct. 18, 2007)

The Sens are still roosted at the top of the Power Rankings, but Minnesota and a number of other clubs are closing in fast. Other teams like the Islanders, Capitals and Predators find themselves barely treading water after laying eggs in the 2nd week of the season.

Surprises abound, except for the top two positions that see Ottawa and Detroit holding strong after the first week of play. Capitals and Lightning undefeated? Flames and Sabres winless? What's going on here?!
