Reasons for Flyers Success

The Philadelphia Flyers were having some trouble winning games late in December. Downie must be reprimanded

Ive been unhappy about a lot of calls going against the Flyers this season, and didnt agree with the Hartnell or Jones suspensions, but Flyers fans lets face it; Downie is a goon. Scrums like the one that occurred in the game against Toronto happen often. Sometimes punches are thrown after the whistle resulting in penalties which I feel is an appropriate repercussion. Flyers vs. Leafs. 2-0 After first.

The first 20 minutes of tonight’s game vs. the leafs has brought mixed emotions for flyers fans. The flyers have scored only one goal in the last two games but thanks to Newmarket native Steven Downie and Jeff Carter some offense has been produced.
