So Begins Another

So here we are on the final strech before our beloved NHL season starts. There have been some changes for better and for worse, for all teams. A prime example of the good is The Tampa Bay Lightning. This is a team i beileve that will suprise alot of people! With the additions of Gagne to the top 6 forward lines and Steve Yzerman to the position of GM, i beileve this will defenitly be my 2nd team to watch. On the worse side i look at my most beloved Calgary Flames. Rumor was that we had the opportunity to seize Yzerman before he signed with the Lightning, why not? We are a team that has been sliding down a slippery slope since our fantastic cup run in 03-04. This year we will see as flames fans if Darryl Sutter can scrap his old school style of play and try and embrace something new. If he can i beileve Calgary can be a sleeper team much like the Tampa Bay, but if we see that same old defensive style of play this year i have a feeling that this will yet be another year of us asking why. But on that note i am very excited for this upcoming year, i beileve it should be one of the best in awhile.
