There is little doubt in my mind that the two Rookie games are more or less meaningless in the grand scheme of the 2010-11 NHL season, the position the Isles will finish, or the state of the franchise as a whole. It would have been nice to win both games, see some more scoring and dominate the “baby bruins.” Though the Islander rooks managed to lose both games — last nights in OT – there are some players I feel deserve some notice. Perhaps my assessment of what I saw from my eSeat will not match your take. We all see different things.
